USB-Imager writes a disk image to several USB drives at the same time. Connected drives are detected automatically, so there is no need to type a device name and no risk of picking the wrong disk.
Writing does not require root privileges. Device access is handled by the udisks2 service of the system, which asks for authorization when the policy of the distribution requires it.
Features:
The Flatpak package now needs far less disk space. An installation shrank from about 278 MiB to 19 MiB, without any change to what the program can do.
The Open dialog is now the file dialog of the desktop. It looks different from before. All folders are reachable in it as usual.
The page of USB-Imager on Flathub is now fully translated into English, German and French. Other languages are no longer offered.
In the application menu the program is now called "USB Imager", written without the hyphen.
The page on Flathub now shows four pictures instead of one, among them the dark color scheme. The page also got its own colors and a shorter description.
Fixed a crash in the Flatpak package: closing a window such as "About" with the close button in its title bar could crash the whole program.
