Rise of the Penguins is a 2D side-scrolling action-platformer for Gameboy.
The game is meant to be simple and linear but with some challenging enemies.
Inspired by Ghost n Goblins and a bit of Mega Man.

6 levels with a variety of enemies in each level
2 extra levels
Boss Rush Mode - unlocked after beating all 6 levels
6 mini boss enemies and 8 boss enemies plus a final boss
6 difficulty settings to adjust checkpoints
Basic HUD showing highscore, health and time remaining
Minimal story with no text - engaging gameplay keeps you playing
