TUNNELER 2.0 (1991, Geoffrey Silverton) rewritten from its decompiled source: two tanks dig through
an underground world, each seeing only a small window around itself, hunting each other with
cannon fire while energy and shields run down. It plays exactly like the original DOS game - the
same movement, digging, explosions, sound and look.
On top of that:
- Split screen for two players on one keyboard or two gamepads, like the original
- Skirmish: you against 1 to 7 computer tanks (easy, medium, hard), free-for-all or in teams
- Online games with up to 8 tanks: a list of games, lobbies with seats, teams and chat, spectators
- Game modes: gold rush, infection, survival, king of the hill, shrinking world, capture the flag, base siege, deathmatch
- Line of sight: see only around your tank, or only what dirt and rock don't hide
- Small, medium and large maps, rounds to win, a round time limit, friendly fire
- English, Slovak, Czech, Ukrainian and Russian
