Smaller (or larger) text on forms and reports:
- A field on a form can wear a named text style. Its value takes the style's size, and any weight, slant, alignment or colour the style sets, and its label grows or shrinks with it
- With nothing selected, the form designer gives every field on the form one style at once. A box too small for its style grows to fit, and Fit to text sizes boxes exactly
- A report has a Text size beside its paper and orientation: Standard, or 7 to 24 points. Lists, crosstabs, charts, labels and letters scale together, with headings in proportion
- Text size in Settings now also offers 85% and 90%, and Ctrl+- steps down to them
- Long words and wide lists no longer run off the printed page, a list's grand totals print once at the end instead of at the foot of every page, and printing asks for the report's own paper size, orientation and margins
- A computer still on 1.3.1 shows styled fields and sized reports in the standard look, and saving there no longer takes the styles or sizes off. If the computer sharing the database is on 1.3.1, it can't keep them, and the designer says so: update that computer first. Rename styles that fields wear from an updated computer
- On Windows, a database on a mapped network drive is now refused like one on a network share, before it can be damaged
- "Already open" now says the file may be open under someone else's sign-in on the same computer, as on a Remote Desktop server, and how to share it instead
