New Frame, Perspective Crop, Zoom, Rotate View, Object Selection, Slice and Adjustment Brush tools, with Select Subject and a Select and Mask workspace. Artboards lay out several screens or sizes in one document and export to separate files or a PDF. A pattern library arrives with a Patterns panel, Define Pattern, Pattern Fill layers, the Pattern Stamp, .pat import and patterns in layer effects. Painting works in 16-bit RGB, Gray and Lab documents and gains Paint Symmetry, Fade, Lock Transparent Pixels, Shift-click straight lines and number keys for opacity and flow. The Layers panel gains five locks and a Fill setting, the window buttons move into the menu bar to give the canvas more room, and large PSD files open and move faster.
