Recordbox is a music browser and player which aims to provide a respectable feature set while remaining relatively lightweight and simple to use. Seamlessly integrated with the GNOME desktop, Recordbox provides a responsive interface, GNOME search provider integration, MPRIS capabilities, gapless playback, ReplayGain support, and more.
Features include:
- Flexible library navigation. Browse albums filtered by either artist or genre, with the option to further group the album list to then browse by artist→genre→album or genre→artist→album.
- Playback of music using GStreamer, with gapless playback and ReplayGain support.
- Viewing and editing of lyrics, for both embedded and external lyrics.
- Integration with GNOME's global search―find and play music directly from the overview.
- Dynamic UI recoloring with a gradient background derived from the playing song's album art.
- Detection and display of embedded or external cover art, for albums and individual tracks.
- MPRIS support for controlling Recordbox from other applications.
- A fully responsive interface using GTK and Libadwaita.

- Fixed some issues related to the new "Restore to Library" option
- Fixed some albums occasionally not loading thumbnails correctly
- Fixed thumbnail in MPRIS not updating for some clients when a track has no image
- Added a playing track indicator to the album view
- Added new shortcuts for toggling playback, skipping to next/previous songs
- Implemented periodic saving of Recordbox's state, allowing it to restore from unexpected exits
