The workflows an owner and an accountant expect, payroll from the paycheck to the year-end
filing, and hosted companies that work from every machine:
- Payroll: print paychecks, direct deposit files, overtime rules and PTO accrual, bonuses
and off-cycle runs, voiding a pay run or a paycheck, termination and final pay, Schedule
B, and each state's withholding certificate
- Receive one payment across several invoices, pay several bills with one check per vendor,
customer statements, bounced checks and bad-debt write-offs
- A check register you can search, sort and export, checks shown and printed as checks,
split entries, and bank rules for the bank feed
- Sales receipts with items and tax, credit memos with lines, vendor prepayments, and locations
on transactions with Profit and Loss by Location
- Opening balances step by step, recurring journal entries, fixed assets and depreciation,
comparative reports, a tax summary by return line, and an adjusted trial balance
- Reopen a finalized reconciliation, an Audit Trail report, automatic backups, and inventory
valuation with the month-end entry
- An accountant can send journal entries back from an accountant's copy, to be previewed
and posted
- In a hosted company, connected machines can save, print, email, import, attach files,
sync the bank feed, make Stripe payment links and W-2s, and set up payroll
- Fixed: closing a period now stops every posting into it, and payroll, voids, edits, the
bank feed and cash-basis reports post where they should
- Fixed: state withholding checked against Connecticut's, New Jersey's and Georgia's 2026
publications, and wages earned in another state are withheld by that state's tables
