OpenGlad

OpenGlad is a port of the open-sourced DOS game known as Gladiator, a top-view gauntlet-style RPG that features fast-paced multiplayer action, several different classes, and a scenario editor. This port adds networked multiplayer, five additional campaigns, seven versus modes, and a modding API in Lua.

Features:

• Seven campaigns, including the original Gladiator and The Tryxian Chronicles
• Seven versus modes across 40 arenas: Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Onslaught, Soccer, Basketball, Mutant and Free-for-All
• Up to four players on one screen, and up to sixteen seats in an online lobby
• Online multiplayer rooms hosted through a public relay, with no port forwarding required
• A built-in scenario editor (Openscen) and a Lua modding API for classes, weapons and campaigns
• Split-screen, online and bot-driven play, with joystick support

As of July 1st, 2002, the original Gladiator was open sourced under the GPL by the Forgotten Sages Development Team.
