- Performance & Lower RAM Usage: Rewrote large parts of the image pipeline for much faster thumbnails, previews, exports and batch actions, with new Advanced settings for parallel exports and export memory limits.
- Immich Integration: Browse albums and the timeline of an Immich server (2.5 or newer), edit photos like local files, export back to Immich, and keep edits synced across all computers.
- Before / After Compare Modes: Split left/right, split top/bottom and side-by-side modes with a draggable divider, chosen from the compare button's right-click menu.

- New AI Sky & Foreground Models: EfficientSAM3 and BiRefNet replace U2Net for far more accurate masks, with AI models downloaded only when a feature is first used.
- AI Text & Face Masks: Select objects by typing a prompt, or pick individual face and body parts like skin, hair, eyes, lips and teeth.
- Auto Adjust Levels: Subtle, Normal and Strong strength levels, and auto adjust no longer changes the Brightness slider.
- Color-Preserving Highlight Reconstruction: Detects the real clip level of each RAW channel and rebuilds blown areas with natural color while keeping light sources neutral.
- More Accurate RAW Colors: Dual-illuminant camera matrices remove magenta casts under tungsten and stage light, and out-of-gamut colors are compressed instead of clipped.
- Rewritten Noise Reduction, Sharpening & Dehaze: Cleaner noise removal without jagged edges, and an edge-aware dehaze that estimates the real haze color.
- Non-Destructive Negative Conversion: Negative conversion is now a tool in the Details panel with color balance, print exposure and print grade controls.
Core Improvements
- Better Fast Inpainting: Fast inpainting keeps more fine detail by copying the texture of the surrounding area.
- Better AI Mask Edges: Improved mask edges and text mask detection, and fixed banding at face, hair and skin mask edges.
- Tethering Fix: Cameras that reuse file names no longer show the previous image after a new capture.
- Up-to-Date Thumbnails: Thumbnails now update when RAW processing settings change.
- Wider Whites Range: The Whites slider is stronger and reaches into the brighter midtones.
- Network Drive Support: Fixed loading files on filesystems that don't support file locking.
- Library Navigation: Up and down arrow keys move through grid rows, and an undo toast appears when rating or flagging hides an image from the current filter.
- Stability & Bug Fixes: General bug fixes, performance optimizations, and backend polish.
Important Note for Upgrading Users
Due to the new RAW color handling, dehaze, whites, noise reduction and denoise processing, existing edits may look slightly different. Your edits and slider values are not changed, and denoise results are regenerated automatically.
