Xecrets Ez is a true zero-knowledge desktop file and text encryption application that uses strong AES-256 encryption to password protect your files. Encrypted files use the .axx extension and remain protected wherever they go — cloud storage, email, USB drives or backups — because the encryption always follows the file. No data or passwords will ever leave your device.
Unlike container-based or folder-based encryption solutions, Xecrets Ez encrypts files individually so protection is never lost when a file is moved or copied. It works entirely offline: no internet connection, no servers, no accounts required.
