Pods is a frontend for podman. It uses libadwaita for its user interface and strives to meet the design principles of GNOME.With Pods you can, among other things:<ul><li>Connect to local and remote Podman instances.</li><li>Easily overview images, containers and pods.</li><li>View prepared information about images, containers, and pods.</li><li>Inspect images, containers and pods.</li><li>View and search container logs.</li><li>Monitor processes of containers and pods.</li><li>Download images and build them using Dockerfiles.</li><li>Create pods and containers.</li><li>Control the lifecycle of containers and pods (in bulk) (start, stop, pause, etc.).</li><li>Delete images, containers, and pods (in bulk).</li><li>Prune images.</li><li>Rename containers.</li></ul>

Pods 1.1.0-beta.3 contains the following features, bug fixes and improvements:<ul><li>The connection menu has received an entry for disconnecting the current Podman connection.</li><li>The status bar now has a menu button that shows the current Podman version.</li><li>The menu item to open the Podman information window has been moved from the main menu to the Podman menu in the status bar.</li><li>A new widget has been implemented that allows you to control the zoom level of text.</li><li>On all pages with text, such as the inspection page, the download button has been moved to a menu in the header bar together with the zoom control widget.</li><li>On the container log page some buttons together with zoom control widget are moved to a menu in the header bar.</li><li>The text in the container terminal can now be zoomed.</li><li>Fixed a bug in the container log page where an explicit color was set for the default ANSI escape sequence. This is a hotfix release that prevents the application from crashing when disconnected from Podman.

All features for version 1.0 are now implemented and Pods is thus in the release candidate phase. Among the changes since the last release are:<ul><li>Actions such as downloading an image or creating a container now take place in dialogs instead of in the main window.</li><li>Image Rows have been revised to better reflect the presence of multiple repo tags.</li><li>Repo tags can now be removed and added within the image details page.</li><li>The subtitle property of the header bars is now used to display the image id, or the name of the container or pod.</li><li>The style of the container details page has been adjusted. The ninth beta of Pods in an important step towards the stable first version. The seventh beta release of Pods 1.0.0 includes the following changes:<ul><li>Relative times are now used everywhere in the application. For example, you can quickly see how long a container has been running or how many days ago an image was created.</li><li>For the circular progress bar in the container row, icons are now used instead of text. Icons have also been added to the resource monitor in the container details page.</li><li>The text field for searching in the container logs and the inspection page has been completely redesigned visually.</li><li>The container log page now displays an info bar if the container is not running. The info bar also offers the possibility to start or resume the container.</li><li>Desktop notifications are now triggered on actions.</li><li>The selection of an image in the container creation page has been improved.
